Online Appointment System
Click on the Assessment Test Scheduling button below to schedule an Assessment Test (English & Math). Click here to complete the online orientation. Print out your certificate of completion and bring it with you to your assessment test appointment.
You must bring with you to your appointment:
Photo Identification – (Driver’s license, passport, state-issued ID, student ID card are all acceptable) – on the day that you are scheduled for the assessment.
Your certificate of completion from a College of Alameda Orientation.
If available, a copy of your high school transcripts.
No student will be permitted to take an assessment test without completing the orientation.

ESL (English as a Second Language) assessment is provided for students whose native language is not English and are looking to enroll in ESL courses. Basic language skills are required.
ESL tests can be scheduled in-person at the Assessment Center – L-Building, room L-236 or by phone at (510) 748-5267.
