Learning Communities (LC)

Who We Are

College of Alameda Learning Communities are designed to promote student success. We offer four culturally-themed learning communities – Adelante, Amandla, APASS, and Hear My Story.  Our curriculum and teaching methods are responsive to the culture and legacy of African American, Latino, or Asian/ Pacific American students, with Hear My Story having a multicultural focus.
